4 months old and always on the go!

Hi Everyone! Just a reminder, if the pictures are too small you can click on them to see a bigger copy!

Well, in only 8 short days we will be moved out of our house in Oakville, so needless to say Mommy and Daddy are super busy. Although, they still found time to take me out to celebrate my Gigi's birthday and my Daddy's graduation.

On May 26th it was my Gigi's birthday so we took her to Buffalo to go shopping and have dinner at a really neat Fondue restaurant called "The Melting Pot". It seemed like everyone really enjoyed the food. I had a great time because Gigi spent all her birthday money on me, she bought me a whole new summer wardrobe and 4 pairs of shoes, thanks Gigi!

Then on May 30th Mommy and Daddy took me on another plane ride, this time to Boston, MA. On this trip I got to travel with my Gigi, Gram, Pop-Pop and my Uncle Ryan, we all went to cheer on Daddy. Daddy's graduation was in Boston, he graduated along with 149 other doctors from his school Saba and another medical school called MUA.

I slept through all of the boring speeches and woke up just in time to cheer for my Daddy, I am so proud of him and what he has accomplished. I saw Mommy and Gigi crying during one point of the ceremony, I think they were happy tears!

We had so much fun in Boston, I got to go on my first boat and trolley ride, and everyone kept saying I was a very good girl. I also got to go swimming in the pool at the hotel in Boston, it was so much fun, I love the water. Mommy and Daddy were trying to teach me how to kick my feet, I think it won't be long before I figure it all out.

We partied every night in Boston, which meant I got to stay up past my bedtime. Pop-Pop really seemed to enjoy my company, one night I even managed to convince him to let me hold his beer for him!

Well, on an ending note, I have also posted our latest family picture that we had done 2 weeks ago at Sears. I think it looks great and thought you would all like to see it! As well as a few pics of me enjoying the beautiful weather outside, I love warm weather and I could do without the cold.

This will probably be my last blog posting till we get to Tennessee in 2 weeks. I look forward to updating all of you when we arrive!

Lots of Love!

May long weekend at the cottage

Hi Everyone!

Just a reminder, I think you can click on any of the pics on my blog to see a bigger copy of the pictures (that way you can take in all my cuteness!!)

I survived my first long weekend up North at the cottage. Thanks to my cousins Kristin, Mark and Erik for sharing their cottage with all of us. The weather may not have been the greatest but we made the best of it and had lots of fun.

I got to watch everyone make a fool of themselves playing Rock Band, Jay even thought he could teach me how to play! My favorites are the drums and singing.

We made it outside a couple of times, to play tennis and this crazy game daddy calls nunchucks!! Mommy had to really bundle me up though and we didn't last very long... One afternoon we went into the "village" at Blue Mountain. I got to hear some music, and relax by the water fountain!! Mommy would not let me try some of her Beaver Tail though...

I really found ways to have fun inside though!! Mommy and Daddy brought my Jolly Jumper which was lots of fun. Also, my cousin Erik was always doing lots of fun things, I could watch him for hours!! I have a video to show you of him dancing to the music from Daddy's phone!

Well, we are back home now... next weekend Mommy and Daddy are taking me to Boston to see Daddy graduate!! Should be exciting, I'll be sure to take lots of pictures!! Don't forget to watch the video below!! IF the video is choppy the first time, try watching it again after it goes through once, a lot of times that fixes the problem!!

Lots of Love,

VIDEOS!!!!

Hi again everyone!

For once it hasn't been that long since my last post!! Yay!!

As for what's been going on since my last post:
I went to the photographer to get some more pictures taken!!! (we should get copies of those soon they are pretty good!).

I also went to see my friend Easton and his mommy Rosalind!
We had fun and held hands!!

Then we fell asleep together on the couch!

Then I broke his heart and he cried!

Also, much to my dismay, mommy and daddy got a new book about how to get your baby to sleep better. Daddy calls it "baby boot camp".... You can imagine how much I like it!! But, I guess I have been in a good mood today.... hmmmmmm.... the jury is still out!

So I was thinking that it might be difficult for everyone to see how big I'm getting through just the pictures I've been posting... I got mommy and daddy to take some videos today!!!! Click on each one below and it should play for you!!!

Gotta go get ready for my trip to the cottage this weekend! I can't believe its my first long weekend already!!!

Enjoy the videos!!

Love you all and hope to see you again soon (or for the first time as the case may be)!
Emmie

The first one is just me in my swing talking to the animals flying over my head...

The second one is me in my activity center and Dexter comes in to give me a surprise...

The third one is me in my activity center again, showing off how good I am at moving the blocks...

And finally, mommy and daddy took a video of me enjoying one of my favourite things, the bath!!

I'm 3 MONTH'S OLD!!!

Well, the time is just flying by. Yet again it has been a while since I have had the chance to update my blog. Mommy and Daddy have been extremely busy ever since we got back from Costa Rica. Daddy got a job in Johnson City, Tennessee, as a "Pediatrician" of all things! So needless to say, their are many things we have to get done before he starts work on July 1st.

I have had a pretty busy month of my own as well, now lets see where do I begin. I went to my first birthday party for my friend 'Cassie', she turned one on April 13th and what a party she had. Her Mommy had a fantastic party at a play gym in Oakville, I loved all the colours and watching all the big kids jump and play. Cassie looked very pretty in her birthday outfit.

My parents also decided it was time for me to get my ears pierced, that's right, pierced! The whole family went with me for moral support, even Papa made it out. I have beautiful white gold diamond earrings that sparkle, just like me. I cried just a little but forgot all about it very quickly, 10 mins after I was fast asleep. I think Mommy and Daddy found it harder than I did.

I finally got to up to Sudbury and meet my Great Granny and all my cousins. Oh what a fun time I had with them. Karsen and Raeliegh liked to play with me and show me what big kids do, I can't wait to go back and visit. I got some really nice gifts from everyone!

I have had numerous parties over the past few weeks, the first one was in Gravenhurst at Grams and Pop-Pops house. They invited all the family and a bunch of their friends, a ton of people showed up, 36 to be exact! It was great to meet everyone. I seemed to be a big hit with the kids, they all wanted to take turns holding me. I also got a whole bunch of gifts, it was great!

Then the following weekend was a "Bon Voyage" party at Lynn and Larry's house in Oakville. Even though mommy and I will be back and forth from Tennessee, daddy won't have much opportunity to come back and visit, apparently they are going to make him work really hard, at least while he is still the 'Rookie'!

I also had a wonderful day on Mother's Day, not only did I get to celebrate with the "Best Mommy ever", I had my Baptism! I am officially a member of the St.Peter's Anglican Church. I was a very good girl for the very long service and the dunking of my head in water, I didn't cry at all. I got to wear the prettiest dress and beautiful sweater that my Great Granny made for me, it was lovely. I also got introduced to my Godparents, Uncle Brodie and Auntie Carrie, I think they are going to be lots of fun. This was followed by a party at Papa and Gigi's house, where again, I got some wonderful gifts from everyone.

I want to thank everyone that I have seen/met at all my parties for the super nice gifts. I hope to see everyone again, sometime soon!

Lots of Love,
Emmie

Ola from Costa Rico!!!

Ola everyone! I know I haven't blogged in a VERY long time, daddy was hogging the computer while getting a residency position, and recently I've been enjoying the sun and fun in Costa Rica!!

My cousin Tricia married Ryan down here in beautiful Costa Rica, and the whole family and all their friends are just having a blast!! (all 73 of us!). Don't they look happy?

My first plane ride was really boring... it was 5 and a half hours and I could only stay awake for about 10 minutes. For some reason, mommy and daddy seemed pleased with this.

The weather has been extremely hot here (over 35 degrees every day) but me and my mommy and daddy are getting very good at staying cool!! I've been in the shady part of the pool a whole lot, and just love swimming! I even brought my own personal pool for when there is no shade in the big pool! Daddy and I really like the swim-up bar!

Other times I've kept cool by wearing my funky sunglasses, and one time I even tried on daddy's hat!! Doesn't it look silly?

I have really adjusted to the warm weather quite well, and have been sleeping much better than I do at home (I think the fresh air helps... and the super comfy king sized bed!).

The warm air and beautiful scenery have been lots of fun... I also have two new friends that I absolutely love to play with!! Rico the monkey and Tooky the Toucan! I giggle and laugh when I play with them, they are so much fun!

Well, I still have lots of stories and more pictures to tell, but the pool is calling me!!! So I'm going to run for now, and hopefully post more when we get back on Tuesday!!!

Lots of Love!
