Dance party at our house - July 2009

Hi Everyone;

We had a great week with lots to do and a couple of parties to attend. I think Mommy is having lots of fun dressing me up in my many dresses. Plus now that my hair is getting longer, she loves to do my hair. I am tolerant to a certain extent, but I really don't care for the amount of time it takes to get my hair done, oh boy....Mommy has been testing out some different updo's in my hair, take a look at the pics below to see a few.

We had a birthday party for one of daddy's colleagues Thomas. For my birthday he bought me this cute tutu, so figured it was the perfect thing to wear. I just love it, pink and pretty!
What is the best accessory to wear to a party with a bunch of doctors, a stethoscope of course.

On Saturday morning mommy and I had some girl bonding time. We went swimming in the pool, then sat outside listening to music and enjoying the beautiful weather! I was having a great time dancing and trying on mommy's shoes, I just love shoes...hmmm I wonder where I get that from.

Check out the new gate that daddy made for the top of our stairs on the deck. Both mommy and daddy feel better about me being out there, not sure what they were so worried about?

I just love my dogs, they are awesome!

On Sunday night we had a dance party in our house, mommy, daddy and I. It was so much fun, we had a blast! Check out the videos below, one of me dancing and one of me doing my spins.

Happy Canada Day and July 4th here in America!

Hi Everyone;

Hope you all had either a wonderful Canada day or July 4th, I know I had both!!! We celebrated Canada day here in Tennessee on July 1st and got all of our American friends to join us. Mommy made a birthday cake and we celebrated with Ella, Fisher, Molly, Payton, Jess, Jason, Kara and Chris, it was lots of fun. Mommy, Daddy and I also made sure we were all dressed in red and white, however we forgot to take pics...

Now for July 4th we had a really busy day, we had 2 parties to go to. They go all out for July 4th down here, it was tons of fun. Mommy even went out and bought me an outfit that was white, red and blue!

Our first party was at the Champney's house (daddy's old chief resident - she is all done now, congrats Heather!). They had tons of fun things to do, including a really awesome bouncy house, I loved it!

Ellie (Heather's little girl) also has this really neat climber with a slide, by the end of the day, i figured out how to climb up the rock wall on it!

Elizabeth figured out how to climb up the whole slide, right to the top, trust me I tried. It was also Elizabeth's birthday, she just turned 2. So we celebrated her birthday at this party!

Then we went back home to our neighborhood July 4th party! There were tons of people and lots, and lots of food!

Molly was watching me while I walked down the big driveway at Kara and Chris's house, she was making sure I didn't fall!

Fisher and his Daddy, Chris! Doesn't Fisher look like he was having a great time.

Fisher and I kept wanting to play with all of the little baby toys, ones that we haven't seen forever!

They had tons of kids seats for all of us, I love the Minnie Mouse chair! Oh, and that picnic table is mine, Gigi and Papa bought it for me, it is just right for my size.

I decided it was time that I learn how to play "Corhole" or as we would call it in Canada, "Bean bag toss"...lol! These are Chris's boards and he just modified them with a fancy drink holder and light, all the Daddy's were really excited about this!

Fisher and Ella and I had tons of fun playing together, it is so great to be back with them!

Kara got out Fisher's old walker that I actually sat in last year at their July 4th party and I decided for old times sake it would be fun to try it out again!

Kara and Ella had a great time, it was so nice to get to celebrate with them!

By the end of the night, I was getting pretty tired, but I did manage to stay up to see some fireworks, they were awesome, I thought they were really nice.

We had some smaller, handheld fireworks that the bigger kids were playing with. Ella wasn't too sure at first but once they started she had lots of fun!

Here is Mommy and I chilling out watching the fireworks, I was pretty tired but Mommy says I was a really good girl!

Here are some glam pics that Mommy and Daddy took one day! Daddy got me all dressed up in purple; purple dress, sunglasses and headband, what do you think...!

Well that is all for now! Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. Mommy and I are having a relaxing day at home while Daddy is at the hospital working, he is on-call today/tonight!
