Back to life in Tennessee, good to be home!

Yes that is right, Mommy and I have moved back to Tennessee! We made it back just in time for Father's Day which made Daddy very happy. We took our time driving back and it was a really fun road trip, thank goodness Gigi came with us, she was a big help for Mommy, both with the driving and with me...lol!

On Father's day Mommy and Gigi made a yummy breakfast for Daddy and then we had some family time up on Roan Mountain. We went to the Rododendrum festival, it was really hot but lots of fun. The higher up the mountain we got, the closer and closer the clouds got, by the time we got to the flowers, you almost couldn't see them because of the clouds! I fell asleep before we made it up to the top.

The weather has been super nice here in Tennessee, so we have been spending lots of time outside. I always make sure to wear a hat and a pair of sunglasses, this way I am all protected from the sun, well I guess I can't forget my sunscreen.

A few days ago Mommy and Daddy decided to bring my little table up from the rec room and every once in a while they let me eat my breakfast and lunch there, just like a big girl!

On Friday night, we went to a dinner at one of Daddy's new Chief Residents house, her name is April. She had all the residents over for dinner and to get a chance to meet all the new 1st years, it was lots of fun. April has two little girls and they have tons of toys, I really enjoyed pushing the stroller with one of their babies in it!

On Saturday we went to the annual Residents picnic, check out my cute outfit I got to wear. I was dressed all in Tennessee orange and white, right down to my shades!

Mommy and I got to sit on the Teeter Totter together, it was so neat!

There were tons of fun kids things to do at the park where the picnic was held, I just don't know what I enjoyed the most.

It might have been the bubbles, I love bubbles...! The clown had a whole bunch of bubbles so Mommy opened up the bottle and started making tons of bubbles and I tried to catch them all.

The clown lady painted a flower on my face, at first I wasn't too sure about it, but after it was all done, I really liked it! Plus she also made me a balloon animal and I love balloon animals.

Last night we had a "Welcome back to America dark party" with all of our wonderful neighbors, it is so nice to be back and get to hang out with all of them (but we forgot to take pics). Check out the video below of Fisher and I bouncing on the trampoline, I can almost get both feet off the ground. Mommy's friend Kara is babysitting me during the week and I love it because her house is full of kids; Ella, Fisher, Molly, Payton and now me!!! Thanks Kara!
Mommy and Daddy finally got around to getting our pool all ready, even though summer has been here for 2 months...So we went swimming this morning, it was awesome. I love the water and I am such a big girl I can do it all by myself. One of my favorite things to do is climb on the ladder and jump into the pool, just like a big girl! Check out the video below.

Well hope everyone back in Canada is finally getting to enjoy the warmer weather. I am exhausted from my busy weekend and I need to go and take a very long nap!
Love y'all

Suprise trip to Ottawa and a Visit with Friends

Hi Everyone;

I had a really exciting weekend, packed with tons of fun! Daddy came up to Canada and we went to Ottawa and suprised Auntie Carrie and Uncle Brodie. It was Auntie Carrie's graduation party on Saturday, she is all done Teacher's college and is ready to be a Kindergarten teacher. We are so proud of her, I think she will make a great teacher!!!
Since we were staying right near Capitol hill, we had to make a trip to the Parliament buildings, wow were they ever nice. I wasn't a big fan of all the statues, they were kind of scary! But I guess nothing compared to Uncle Brodie's snake. Yes, his snake! When I first saw it, I backed up in the corner and said "No, no, no!" but then Daddy made me feel better and in the end the snake was really nice, I even touched him.

Yes, this is a real snake, a very big one!

They also have 2 cats and I chased them all over their place, CB was not as afraid as Chewy, he let me get a little close to him!

Carrie's party was hosted at Brodie's parents house and they have rock gardens all over their yard, it was so cool! I just kept taking rocks from one place and putting them somewhere new.

At bedtime, I got to wear my pj's outside and drink my milk by the pool, it was very special!

Tonight we had Auntie's Sarah and Amy over for a visit. We had a yummy dinner and enjoyed some playtime outside.

You can see in this picture above that the sandal I have on is a little too big, but it was so nice and sparkly that I just couldn't resist. This is Auntie Amy's sandal and it was so pretty I had to try it on. I just love shoes!!!

Well, I am pooped, time for bed, hope everyone has a great week. We have another busy weekend coming and I need my rest. We are finally moving back home to Tennessee!

Playing with Family and Friends!

Hi Everyone;

I have once again been on the run. I love getting to play with my friends and my many cousins. Last Sunday Mommy and I met up with Cassie and her mom at the playground. We went up and down the slide, over and over again, I couldn't get enough. Cassie and I would have races down two slides that were side by side, it was so much fun!

Thanks to Cassie for lending me a pair of her jeans, it ended up being much colder out than Mommy and I realized!

This past weekend we went up to my cousins Robin and Roy's cottage in Collingwood. They have tons and tons of toys both inside and out. Plus they have 4 kids, all cousins of mine, from oldest to youngest is Andrew, Rachael, Allie and Rebecca. Plus my cousin Erik and his Mommy were at their family cottage down the street. We all got together on Saturday afternoon and played outside. Erik and I had lots of fun jumping on the trampoline, but Mommy forgot to take pics! It was so much fun, I had a great time! I played on the swings with Rachael, played make belief with Rebecca, shared nicely with Allie and Andrew was always around to help show me many new things and watch me to make sure I didn't get into trouble!

This is Andrew, he is a big boy!

Here is Rachael, isn't she pretty!

This pic shows how nice it is there, although it is a little deceiving because it was actually quite cold out!

Here is Rebecca and I playing make belief at the make-up vanity!

We had a fire outside after dinner, it was nice and warm but I think all the Mommy's were nervous with us kiddies running around, but we did behave!

Here is Allie and I chilling out by the fire on our very own lawn chairs!

Andrew was helping me find rocks in the sand!

Rebecca and I took a bath together while all the big kids got to go in the hottub, little do they know that Rebecca and I had lots of fun in our own tub!

Check out this video of me in the sand, I am not a huge fan of dirt as you will see!

Well, gotta go to bed, it has been a long day!

Take care and luv you all,

Emmie
