4 Weeks Old!!!

My how time flies! Can you beleive I'm already 4 weeks old!? I've been keeping very busy! Lots of visitors, shopping and the occasional nap...

I got to meet my Great-Aunt Shirley and Great-Uncle Don before they went on a trip to Panama!

I also got to meet my Great-Auntie Susan and my cousins Megan and Kahla (they are Erica's sisters)!

I'm still working on getting my new teeth... It's not real fun, but I have learned to chew on anything I can get my mouth on!!

We have been having a little fun with my Brother Dexter around the house... He was really confused and tried to chase down this kitty cat that was on TV... Silly Dexter!

Of course daddy and I have been watching lots of hockey... I'm really coming around on those Flames!

Mommy and Daddy say I'm getting really heavy! I'm went for my first chiropractic appointment, have another doctors appointment tomorrow... I got my passport, so I'm ready for Costa Rica!! I made plans to meet one of my Great-Grandmothers on Easter, I can't wait!

Thank you to everyone who has sent me presents, I've gotten so many in the mail and I love them all! Mommy is helping me make some thank you cards that I'll send out soon.

Well, I gotta go, I'm getting hungry again!

Quick update of my new toys!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to do a quick blog update, because I'm so excited that I got some new toys!

The first is a "bumbo", it's a chair that I'm not allowed to use til I can hold my head up better!

The second toy is a Jungle Swing!! It's so fun!!! My brother dexter likes it too! Can you see the video?

Anyways, I have to go, I'm not feeling the greatest cause I have these 2 pesky bottom teeth that want to come out early!

Lots going on now!

Hi everyone!

Sorry I haven't written in a while, I really underestimated how busy life gets when you are over 2 weeks old!

Mommy and Daddy have been bundling me up and taking me out in this winter weather and we have been having a blast!!

But don't worry, when I get back inside I go straight to the warmest place in the house and get cozy with the warmest person!!

I got to go back to the Square One Mall again (my favourite place in the world)! Mommy and GiGi went a little crazy and I got tons of new outfits! We got so tired that we put all my bags of new clothes on my stroller and went to my first restaurant! When we got home, Mommy laid out all the outfits from my shopping spree with me in my crib... Aren't I lucky!!?

Daddy says he is going to convert the spare bedroom into a walk-in closet for me!!
Mommy says I better get used to sarcasm if I listen to Daddy!

I had my first Valentines Day! I got lots of Valentines Day cards! (my first piece of real mail was from Sarah!) I had 2 great valentines day outfits (good thing, cause I tend to need more than one outfit a day - when I get bored of one outfit I just make a mess). Mommy's milk tasted a lot sweeter on valentines day cause she ate lots of chocolate!

I did my first photo shoot at Sears with mommy and daddy! It was a little too bright for my liking, but we got some good shots. We have to wait 2 weeks whole to get the prints (by then I'll have doubled my age!!)
We also dropped off my passport application, have had lots of visitors, and went and visited some friends (I got to meet my cousin Erik!).
Mommy and Daddy also say I'm very advanced!!! They are pretty sure that I'm teething already!!! If thats the case then I take after my mommy! Stay tuned!

First Leafs Game! More visitors, more snow!

So I finally got to see my first Toronto maple leafs game!

Daddy wasn't very impressed with how much I liked the blue and white outfit that my Uncle Ryan bought for me!

It was a pretty good game on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens, I stayed up for most of the game and they actually won 4-2!!! I was so surprised and excited, that when Darcy Tucker scored the last goal on the empty net, I pooped my pants!!!

Carrie and Jamie were here to help me cheer them on, then they played some Rock Band (my daddy is a good drummer)!

On Saturday the leafs played again and won again!! Daddy called that a winning streak!


Saturday was "Hockey Day in Canada", so after the leaf game was the Ottawa Senators vs. Montreal Canadiens. Much to the dismay of daddy, pa-pa, pop-pop and uncle ryan this was the first hockey game that I actually watched and paid attention to!

Brodie sure would be happy if I turned out to be a Senators fan!!
























So I'm 12 days old now and we have gotten over 50 cm of snow since I've been born. I knew being Canadian would be tough, but this is ridiculous!!

Daddy goes out to do lots of shoveling, and when he comes back inside we get to have naps together!!!

My cousin Tricia stopped by for a visit! She told me all about her wedding coming up in Costa Rica! I can't wait to get away from the snow for a while!










We went to GiGi and PaPa's for another visit. GiGi sure gets a kick out of keeping me awake so that I'll sleep for mommy and daddy!















Gram and Pop-Pop came over to see me again on the weekend. They brought me a new toy, a book and Pop-Pop read me a book that he got at work called "Just Grandpa and Me". I slept the whole time Pop-Pop was reading to me... I'll probably just wait 'til they make it into a movie!

Well, I have to go again! Mommy and Daddy are going to take me on a walk today. But they said it's -20 with the wind chill so we will probably walk at the mall... I plan to trick them into buying me something nice when we are there!!

Happy One Week Old Day To Me!!

I'm one whole week old today!! But first, lets talk about what we've been up to over the past couple of days!

Daddy and I watched the Super Bowl together (with some other friends and family of course) and were shocked and a little happy that the New York Giants beat the New England Patriots. In this picture Daddy is teaching me how to 'protect the football'!




























Oooh and I just got a picture of my best friend Cassianna too (thanks cousin Erica!). She's playing with my one of my brothers (Dexter). My brothers have been pretty good to me so far... They are getting used to Mommy and Daddy saying "GENTLE" to them every second word. I'm thinking gentle might be a good first word for me to say!




















I had another one of those baths. I'm getting used to it I guess. I just can't figure out why mommy and daddy insist on taking pictures of every single thing I do!!










On Monday Gigi came over and played with me for hours and hours. She just would not let me sleep. She said something about if I stay awake during the day I might sleep better at night. I'm not sure if it worked, because I'm only a week old and don't really know what night is... but mommy and daddy keep saying I'm sleeping a whole lot better at night now so I guess thats good!
















Yesterday was my first outing out in public. We had a doctors appointment cause I'm was a little more jaundice. My weigh in at the appointment went very well though as I tipped the scales at 7lb 4oz which is almost back to my birth weight already! Mommy and daddy seemed quite pleased with that. Then we went over to the most wonderful place I have ever seen: The Square One Mall. I could have spent hours there and I hope we go back soon.

Mommy and Daddy were going to get a blood test to check my bilirubin levels (to see how yellow I really am), but the lab we went to had a fantastic rule... They don't draw blood from babies. Mommy and Daddy threatened to take me to the hospital this morning to do the test, so I decided to get rid of the jaundice almost completely overnight to avoid getting poked by a needle. Since the jaundice is very much improved and I'm growing well and eating well, they said they wouldn't do the test for now!

We had another snow storm today and have already gotten over 25 cm. Mommy and Daddy said not to worry though, we have something to look forward to. My cousin Tricia is getting married in Costa Rica next month! So I have to go get a passport and a bikini! I can't wait!

Well, I have to go tell mommy that I'm hungry... I've been doing this thing called cluster feeding lately (translation: I eat all the time!!!). You see, I'm one week old now, I'm gonna be growing faster than you know it!
